Pokemon Birthday Projects With Cricut

A Cake Topper, a light up pentagon, and a large folding, light up, card.

Our oldest grandson is a huge Pokemon fanatic - these are some of the items we made him, using my husbands 3d printer and my cricut, for his last birthday.

Here's how I made them, and where I found the files:

A Pokemon Cake Topper

Cake Toppers are really quite simple to make with Cricut Design Space. To Save on layering, use print then cut for the detailed images, then add a series of offsets.

Here's a step by step:

Paper Sunflower In a Milk Can

This is my fall bouquet project for 2023 - but it's taking me a very long time to complete it.  So I am adding the flowers to this post as I complete them, and hopefully I'll finish it before I start pulling out the Christmas decorations this November.  :-)  Here's a look at the flower svgs I've used, and how I have modified them, so far:

About Those "Lifetime Digital Access" Offers

At least once a month I receive a message about Scout and Rose and their Lifetime Digital Access.

The Scout and Rose website hasn't been around for a long time now - and just to be clear, I never recommended anyone purchase this package.  Quite the opposite...  I believe that once a site offers Lifetime Digital Access, they typically do not last much longer.

My Flowerfest Bouquet

Bouquet made during the Abbi Kirstin Flowerfest, July 2023

It's rare that I do too much with these never-ending summits.  I simply don't have time, and there are so very many of them.  But for this flowerfest summit by Abbi, I marked the day off on my calendar and told my family I was unavailable that day.  (I did still have farm chores, and my grandson here part of the day...  but that's about as close to a day off as I can get right now)

Here's a look at what I made,  some tips for things I do a bit differently than she instructs, and some free options for the flowers, since this class was free for 24 hours only.
