The Difference Between Commercial Use, Personal Use & Print On Demand

Commercial Use, Personal  Use, Print On Demand - Which Do You Need?

Please keep in mind that each site may have their own rules for using their svgs  - this is just a guideline for what the terms mean.

Personal Use:    Svgs & fonts that are for personal use are for projects with no     financial gain.  You can use them for projects for yourself, and for gifts.

Commercial Use Svgs & fonts that are for commercial use are for projects with you plan to sell.  They CAN also be used for personal projects and gifts.  Frequently there will be a limit for free commercial use svgs—read the fine print.  Most designers allow you to sell between 50 to 200 items, after that, they ask you to purchase an “extended commercial use” license.

Print On Demand: A Print On Demand License is most commonly for items you want to mass produce.  This rarely applies to home crafters.

=====================

There IS NO LICENSE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DOWNLOAD AN SVG THEN UPLOAD IT AND SELL IT AS YOUR OWN.

Unfortunately, many Etsy sellers & websites are selling svgs they downloaded from other sites.  Know your designers, before you purchase from sites like Etsy.
