- I typically use Recollections brand paper from Michaels, but we just this week got a local Hobby Lobby, so I am trying some of the Paper Studio papers they carry too.

A few early construction notes:
- The paper from Hobby Lobby is Hollow Core - giving my cuts a white edge. I may like this for some things. I do not like it for others.
- I should really read instructions. Eventually I probably will - at least for the flowers that don't look right. For now, I'm just cutting them and putting them together using basic logic. Sometimes that works great, other times... I still don't know why I have a black square of cardstock with the Jennifer Maker file, and apparently I was supposed to change the color from black to yellow on the long strip. Ooops.

On my desk today... It's going to be 90 degrees every day this week, so I thought this might be a good week to learn how to make wine slushies. Of course, I'm also decorating the drink pouches. Four Easy Ways To Make Wine Slushies - With Recipes
Wine slushies made three ways:
On the far right is a tart red wine slushy made with a local red wine and simple syrup, blended, and froze frozen. In the middle is a peach wine, mixed with frozen peaches and a cup of rum, blended, and froze. (I'd knock the rum down to half a cup next time, this one is a bit strong... ) and on the far right is red cat wine, poured into a flat container and sat in the freezer overnight. This morning I pulled a fork through it to "stir" it into a slush.
