How To Make The Reindeer Ornament Holders
This site has incredible projects with FREE files.
But the site is in Spanish, many of the files are studio format, and it's incredibly rare that any of them have any instructions. So not great for newbies, but for those who are comfortable with the process, it's a treasure trove!

The Military Tree - Cricut Christmas Ornaments
Chevron & Leopard Print Arabesque Ornaments
For the leopard print, there are two files to upload. Once uploaded, select the solid one, and change it to gold or brown, then attach it. Then select the "outline" and attach that one, leaving it black. Layer one over top of the all, group, then change the size to: 3.606 X 4.374
Add whatever you would like in the center circles.
Then once cut, layer the designs on the transfer tape and apply the entire layered design all at once.

Be sure they are sized as shown in the graphic above.
The size on the left is for the backing, if you want to cover the back in felt or paper. It is the full size of the ornament. The sizes on the right are for the inside of the front. There's a small "lip" around the ornament, the size on the right will fit inside of that.
Note - the marble version are 3x the price of the white version.
For those asking about weight, they are much lighter than the look - weighing roughly 3 ounces.

Grinch Stink Stank Stunk 2020, Using Free SVGS |
If you are trying to make these ornaments this year with a photo you saved from a facebook post, that is not an svg. Yes, it can be made into a cut file. But you can also just download two separate free svgs, which are scalable vector graphics already sorted into layers, add some text, and customize your own version - with a little less frustration than trying to use a jpg.
Here's a step by step how to.
Christmas Quick Tip - Don't Scratch The Glitter
When making Glitter Christmas Ornaments, here are some tips for replacing the ornament tops without scratching the glitter:
Christmas Craft Challenge Week Four - Print Than Cut Floating Christmas Ornaments
Are you ready for week four of the 12 Week Christmas Craft Challenge? Last week we tackled layering vinyl using registration marks, to make a Christmas Countdown Board. This week we're learning about Print Then Cut with cricut, to make printable acetate, "floating" Christmas ornaments.
- Making The Floating Ornaments with Vellum instead of Transparency Paper (My favorite is to layer a vellum layer behind a Transparency Layer)
- Pay By The Page, Not The Cartridge - HP Instant Ink is like Netflix for printers, and it saves me more than a hundred dollars in ink each year! https://fieldsofhether.blogspot.com/2019/10/pay-by-page-not-cartridge-saving-money.html

Preparing For Next Week -
- Free Little Red Truck SVG - There's a list here: https://fieldsofhether.blogspot.com/2020/10/where-to-find-free-christmas-themed.html
- HTV vinyl in the colors you wish to use. For most little red truck designs that will be red, green, and black. Possibly some white. You can use any colors you would like. These are my favorite brands and prices for purchasing vinyl. https://fieldsofhether.blogspot.com/2017/09/cricut-which-vinyl-do-i-need-where-do-i.html
- Dish Towels. Many use the cheap "flour sack" towels from Wal-Mart. They are very cheap, and great to learn on. Just don't ever wash them, they are essentially cheesecloth, not actually flour sacks. As a matter of fact, these "flour sack towels" are what I use when I need cheesecloth for cheese making. My favorite towels are the Aunt Martha brand that can be found in the embroidery aisle at JoAnns, or on Amazon - https://amzn.to/2J4qHnt
