Where To Find Free SVGS For Making 3D Paper Light Box, Or Shadow Box, Frames

This free svg from
https://creative-vector-studio.com/product/free-paper-frame-svg-template/
includes 5 different decorative elements for the corners, and a printable pdf copy if you want to just print and fold a smaller version of the box.

Quick and easy download - this is a great site that I use often!

This is the frame I've used most often, because it was the first one I found.

Find her rectangle version here:

This is now a very ad intensive site, but the files are so incredible, it's worth it, I promise.  The free file is in her resource library, you have to sign up for her emails to get the password.
Once you have that, it's design #54
The rectangle is design #119

This version from:
is designed to cut all from one piece of  8.5x 11 inch paper - so it's a much smaller finished box.  You can enlarge the svg and use 12x12 paper, that would give you a finished box with 4 inches, inside, for your design.

Jennifer Maker has a variety of shapes and sizes available in her freebie library
It is Design #423 in her freebie library.  You will need a password to access her free library - it's free, and comes at the bottom of every email.

In my craft room, I have a shadow box from Michaels that I switch out the design in for every season.
I use a Command Strip to easily swap them out.

I love these boxes  - and they come in a variety of colors.
But they are a little pricey.  Watch for a good sale!

My Shadow
BY ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON
I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me,
And what can be the use of him is more than I can see.
He is very, very like me from the heels up to the head;
And I see him jump before me, when I jump into my bed.

The funniest thing about him is the way he likes to grow—
Not at all like proper children, which is always very slow;
For he sometimes shoots up taller like an india-rubber ball,
And he sometimes gets so little that there's none of him at all.

He hasn't got a notion of how children ought to play,
And can only make a fool of me in every sort of way.
He stays so close beside me, he's a coward you can see;
I'd think shame to stick to nursie as that shadow sticks to me!

One morning, very early, before the sun was up,
I rose and found the shining dew on every buttercup;
But my lazy little shadow, like an arrant sleepy-head,
Had stayed at home behind me and was fast asleep in bed.
