Quick Tip - Switch From Cut, To Draw, Or To Print Then Cut

How to change from cut, to draw, to print then cut - a quick look at the Operation Menu in Cricut Design Space
Draw
is for using pens in your cricut machine.
Pens will follow the same path as the blade, so if you are not using a writing font purchased or rented from Cricut, your text may "bubble, or outline.  There are more than 100 free fonts that will collapse on themselves and work as "single line" writing fonts - find the lists, with examples by pen size, here:

Print Then Cut
The machine first sends the design to your printer, and then you place it on the mat and the machine will cut out the design.

Foil -

Guide -
Guide creates an outline, or guide, for your project.  You can change a shape into a guide the size of your project, card, door mat, etc, then space your text on the guide.  When you click make it, guide items will not transfer to the Make it mats.

Guide can also be used to add text notes to your design, that will not be sent to any mat.
Guide items do not cut, do not print, and do not draw - they are just notes on the project.
