A Halloween Banner

A Halloween Banner

On My Desk, 2022 -   I wanted something a little "cuter" for this project, not too scary.

The Bat is a free svg from: https://shrsl.com/3q3jd
(Use Contour to remove the hole for the lollipop, and I added googly eyes to make it more cute, less scary)

The Pumpkin SVG is a candy holder svg from:
https://tinyurl.com/2x6ub2a5
(This was a temporary freebie - no longer free. And I used contour, again, to remove the candy holder part)

The layered Ghost svg is free from:

The Banner Base

The Banner base is the same one I use all the time - I downloaded it as part of the Patriotic banner svg from Special Heart Studio. I deleted all but the back layer, then saved it as a Design Space Project titled "Basic Banner".

For this one, the black pieces are 4.5 wide by 5.537 tall , and the orange pieces are 4.264 wide by 5.139 tall. When I duplicated to make the inside, orange, layer, I contoured out the holes.

Then I duplicated both pieces, lined them up, and sliced - so that the holes were lined up properly on the orange piece.

I layered my newly sliced orange piece on top of the original black piece, and deleted all the rest. There are SO MANY free banner svgs out there, I could have just downloaded a new set I'm sure, but I already had this one in Design Space because I've used it a lot.
